The lower beam of the Standard Drop Blind is securely fastened into the floor (or wall) providing a taut “wall” of fabric.
Since shade is often a secondary consideration these blinds work well with integral transparent windows.
Tip: if a second set of bottom bar fixings are located part way up then the bottom “solid fabric” part of the blind can be used as shade whilst still retaining the window.
The Drop Blind can also be used to provide additional shade for Stand-Alone shade structures such as framed Concertina Awnings, especially effective against the low sun of early morning and late afternoon.
