Ease of use on all our Awnings and Blinds is of primary concern, not just a luxury!
Automation for many products is an essential addition and in some cases the only option available.
Why do I need a motor?
- Ease of use: Applicable to Every Product, especially Awnings. Awnings with an extension longer than 200-250cm (80% of all awnings) can be difficult to close manually. The longer the arms, the harder it is to wind back in due to the large springs which serve to push out the fabric and keep it tense.
- Accessibility: If you can’t reach to operate an awning/blind due to essential high level positioning (e.g. second floor windows) then you will need a motor.
- Correct Operation: Motors have established limits (programmed or otherwise) meaning the awning/blind always stops at the right place overcoming human error and any potential damage due to misuse (particularly relevant to holiday rental properties).
- Automatic Response to Weather Conditions: A wind sensor can automatically retract an awning when the wind speed passes a predetermined level.
- Home Control: Control from a Domotic system or Mobile device
Motor Operation:
- Remote control (one touch operation: up(close), stop (anywhere you choose) and down (open).
- Multiple Channel Remote: operate motors individually or as a group.
- Wall Switch (via radio): the same operation as a single channel remote control; battery operated (no cabling necessary)
- Hard-Wired Switch
Wind/Sun Sensors:
- Wind Sensor: 220v hard-wired. Adjustable sensitivity. Can be connected to multiple motors. Automatically retracts awning(s)
- Wind/Sun Sensor: Additionally the Sun Sensor opens awning(s) automatically above a certain luminosity (adjustable) and closes when light level drops.
